I loved reading this, Susan, and seeing someone further along the path. How have you kept the family culture/dynamic as the older ones do concurrent classes?

It is definitely more challenging as they get older and begin to all have different schedules which we are not in charge of anymore! We have dinner together every night; if some are absent for work or class, that’s just the way it is. We do morning and night prayers together, and on Sunday we are all at church together. Board game nights and Family Read-Aloud nights are still very popular with whoever is around, and Dad has set up one on one “meeting times” with the older boys on a weekly basis, just kind of to touch base, get a coffee together, or go for a walk so they can discuss anything that’s going on, issues they are facing, plans for the future etc. Also, we harness technology by having a very active family Group Chat on Telegram, so we can share interesting articles, memes (sigh!), or ideas.
